Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command in Port Hueneme, CA, is seeking a front desk associate for Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and Navy Lodge properties. You will welcome guests, handle check-in/out, process reservations, and ensure safety and security while maintaining outstanding guest relations.

The role covers all shifts, including weekends and holidays, requires strong communication, cash handling, and the ability to use the Property Management System.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Study completed in college/university above high school level may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, answers questions, and provides information about lodging facilities and local attractions.
• Assists guests with reservations, payments, check-in/check-out, and room assignments.
• Greets guests, maintains outstanding guest relations, and handles shift duties.
• Uses PMS to access guest information and modify reservations.
• Registers rooms, issues keys, processes payments, and transmits/receives messages.
