Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command in Honolulu is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Clerk to welcome guests at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites/Navy Lodge and manage check-in/out, reservations, and guest payments using the PMS.

You will coordinate with lodging staff, handle wake-up calls, maintain security and privacy, and ensure a clean, welcoming lobby while delivering exceptional guest service across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Study completed in college/university above the high school level may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with reservations, payments, check-in/check-out, and room assignments.
• Greet guests and maintain outstanding guest relations.
• Operate the PMS to access guest information, retrieve reservations, and modify bookings.
• Manage multi-line phone system and relay messages.
• Ensure front desk area is clean, secure, and stocked; safeguard keys and safekeeping items.
• Prepare reports such as Expected Arrivals, Departure List, and Night Audit as required.
