Job summary

Sonesta Select Phoenix Camelback in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Front Desk Agent to handle guest check-in/check-out, information, and guest relations during shifts. You will support the Operations Manager and manage front desk systems with a guest-first mindset.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of hotel or retail experience, with English fluency. Training, team collaboration, and occasional early/late shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Extended stay experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math, budgeting, and% variance concepts preferred.
• Problem solving, organization and training abilities preferred.
• Experience with MS Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or may be required.
• May require TIPS certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and locations.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain the security of guest information and financial data.
• Assist with guest reservations and upsell rooms when appropriate.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategy and pricing guidance.
• Promote teamwork and coordination with other shifts and departments.
• Support beverage service and comply with alcohol laws.
• Fulfill guest special requests and ensure service delivery.
