Sonesta International Hotels in Phoenix is seeking a Guest Services Agent to deliver exceptional front desk service and guest relations across shifts. You will register guests, handle inquiries, and manage check-ins/check-outs with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math for transactions, and a commitment to Sonesta’s service standards. Prior hotel or retail experience is a plus; ServSafe and TIPS certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills including budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe certification may be required; TIPS certification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions per established procedures.
• Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information.
• Routinely book guest reservations and upsell rooms when possible.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategies as communicated by management.
• Collaborate with shifts and departments to ensure service excellence.
• Follow local laws regarding alcohol service and guest safety.
• Assist guests with special requests and safe-deposit boxes.
