Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Phoenix seeks a Guest Services Agent to be the first contact for guests and support the Operations Manager. You will handle front desk duties, registrations, payments, and guest inquiries with a focus on service quality.

Fluent English and solid customer service experience are required; ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications may be needed. Morning/evening/weekend shifts are common, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.
• ServSafe certification may be required.
• TIPS certification may be required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Register guests, issue keys, provide information on services and locations.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions according to procedures.
• Maintain security of cash, transactions and guest information.
• Routinely book reservations and upsell rooms when possible.
• Coordinate with shifts and management for smooth operations.
• Follow local laws on alcohol service and safety.
