Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to support guests with check-in/out, payments, phone inquiries, and reservations. You will ensure front desk operations run smoothly and uphold ESA safety standards.

You will assist with breakfast setup, maintain a clean front desk area, and promote ESA value to guests while resolving issues through the Make it Right process.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English to interact with guests and vendors.
• Able to operate property management system and audit shift reports.
• Able to understand and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Capable of completing routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Exercise good judgment at all times.
• Resolve guest issues using standard Make it Right processes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to guest experience.
• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, collect payments.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Set up and takedown of breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Keep front desk and public areas organized and clean.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Collect guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct property tours to ensure brand standards.
• Adhere to safety and security policies and report issues.
