Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments. The role includes front desk daily paperwork and following safety procedures to ensure a secure guest experience.

Maintain a clean, organized lobby and front desk area, handle reservations and payments, and promote ESA services. Competitive wages, weekly pay, and a supportive work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology; able to work through shift reports and audit when needed.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check guests in and out, and collect payments per company guidelines.
• Complete front office daily paperwork and ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process and maintain a respectful, helpful attitude.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures in accordance with guidelines.
• Maintain cash, credit card and city ledger balances and manage daily front desk cash.
• Set up and take down breakfast displays in a timely manner and keep front desk and lobby areas clean and organized.
• Promote ESA services to inquiries and convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Collect guest information, identify sales opportunities, and conduct property tours as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, including key control and safety reporting.
