Comfort Inn & Suites Near Burke Mountain in St. Johnsbury, VT seeks a friendly Guest Service Agent to handle guest registration, reservations, and local information.

This full-time role requires onsite work, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing check-ins/outs, handling payments, and coordinating with staff to maintain hotel standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of employment experience in a related position.
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location.
• Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week; shifts AM/PM; weekends/ holidays; flexible.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms.
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor.
• Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities.
• Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests.
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest requests.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
• Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures.
• Assist with other departments when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
