Job summary

Comfort Inn & Suites in Montpelier, VT is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent for a part-time role. You will handle guest check-in/out, reservations and provide local information to ensure a memorable stay.

The position requires customer-service experience, English proficiency, and the ability to work onsite. Hours are 16–24 per week across morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts, with potential for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Ability to work onsite at the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations in sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor.
• Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities.
• Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests.
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest requests.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
