Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc invites applications for a Front Desk Agent in New Mexico. You will welcome guests, check them in and out, manage bookings, and upsell services to enhance stays. You’ll handle cash, recognize rewards members, and provide local knowledge to ensure a friction-free visit.

We value communication, problem-solving, and a friendly, professional presence. A high school diploma is common; flexibility for shifts, including nights and weekends, is expected at times.

Qualifications

• Need strong communication and problem-solving to manage guest concerns.
• Fluency in local language; extra languages a plus.
• Literacy and basic math and computer skills.
• Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Experience in front desk/guest service preferred (1 year).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and start their memorable experience.
• Acknowledge rewards program members and returning guests.
• Manage bookings, upsell, and share stay improvements.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check in/out, verify IDs, issue room keys, and manage safes.
• Record preferences and respond to requests and concerns.
• Serve as guest contact and escalate issues when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Maintain a professional brand appearance.
• Know daily events and assist with ad-hoc duties.
