Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to provide attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout. You will help maximize room revenue and occupancy while maintaining Highgate standards.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility with hours. Training on hotel systems and procedures is provided, with a focus on guest satisfaction and smooth front desk operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in line with Highgate Hotel standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and hotel standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts politely and efficiently.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork.
