Job summary

Loews Chicago Hotel is seeking a Front Office Agent who greets guests with warmth, manages check-in/check-out, and ensures a smooth arrival and stay. You will balance professional service with genuine hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

You will promote hotel services, assist guests with information about local attractions, handle payments accurately, and maintain lobby standards. Weekend/evening availability and mandatory trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Experience with Opera PMS preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary/required.
• Must attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify payment information per hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain front desk and lobby area cleanliness and appearance.
