Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel is seeking a Front Office Agent to create memorable first impressions from check-in to check-out. You will blend professionalism with warm hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of guest service experience, familiarity with Opera PMS if possible, and the ability to stand for long periods. Weekend/evening availability may be required; Loews supports growth and belonging with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Opera System is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor cleanliness and appearance of Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing safety.
• Maintain regular attendance as per standards.
• Work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
