Job summary

The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia is seeking a friendly Guest Services Associate to manage the main entrance desk, welcome visitors, and handle routine front-desk tasks. Qualifications

• High school degree required with 2+ years in customer service, reception, or front desk roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors at the Pozez JCC desk.
• Provide a positive, memorable guest experience and handle inquiries professionally.
• Support front desk operations and maintain supplies and a tidy work area.
• Ensure security procedures are followed for all building entrants.

Responsibilities

• Serve as receptionist at main entrance, directing visitors and answering inquiries.
• Greet guests and members to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Direct calls and messages to the appropriate staff and departments.
• Maintain front desk supplies and keep the area organized and secure.
• Assist new and current members with forms and information as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to share program information accurately.
• Print daily schedules for staff and weekend coverage as required.
