Job summary

The Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville seeks a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, assist with arrival and departure, and provide accurate information on local attractions and hotel services. You will handle registrations, input guest data, code room keys, process payments, post charges, and answer phones with a positive, professional demeanor.

Hospitality experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation essential.
• Ability to stand/move throughout front office and perform duties.
• Proficient in inputting information and using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, genuine welcome and assist with arrival/departure.
• Complete registration using the computer system, confirm guest details and rate.
• Code electronic keys and prepare welcome folders with keys and materials.
• Process payments, post charges, and balance house accounts.
• Answer telephones promptly with clear, positive communication; relay messages.
• Assist with mail, packages, and messages for guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve guest concerns.
• Respond to complaints and emergencies with composure and effective solutions.
• Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
