Job summary

Sonesta Columbus is seeking a full-time Guest Service Representative to warmly welcome guests at check-in/check-out and assist with reservations, billing inquiries, and local information. You will handle payments via PMS/POS, respond to guest needs, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, and help ensure smooth operations and memorable stays.

Ideal candidates show strong communication, team collaboration, and a positive, professional attitude, with flexibility for varied shifts

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service during check-in/check-out.
• Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, billing inquiries, and local information.
• Process transactions accurately using PMS and POS systems.
• Respond quickly to guest concerns and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to support operations.
• Maintain lobby/front desk presentation and assist VIP/group arrivals as needed.
