Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC, The Summit Hotel Cincinnati, is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, take reservations, and provide directions to local attractions. You will respond to guest inquiries and support sales goals through upselling when appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Three to twelve months of employment in a related guest relations position.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods, sociable and guest-service oriented demeanor.
• On-the-job learning is common in this role.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration and checkout, assign rooms, and pre-register reservations.
• Provide quotes, upsell, and assist with special requests.
• Manage phone activity and general hotel services information for guests.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping for room status and requests.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests.
