Job summary

The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati is seeking a Guest Services Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage registrations, and assist with reservations. You will serve as the first point of contact, offering local recommendations and information while handling payments and room assignments with accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have high school diploma or equivalent, strong computer and cash handling skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor suitable for front desk interactions with guests and team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in guest relations or front desk roles preferred.
• Strong computer and cash handling skills; able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration and check-in/check-out efficiently and courteously.
• Provide room recommendations, quotes, and up-sell opportunities.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, local attractions, and services.
• Manage phone inquiries and general guest services, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.
• Ensure accurate charges are posted to guest folios and balance cash at shift end.
