Home2 Suites by Hilton Gulf Breeze is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to be the welcoming first contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest inquiries with accuracy and warmth. You will coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure a smooth stay, uphold Hilton brand standards, and protect guest information.

This on-site role requires flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends, strong communication, multitasking, and a customer-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
• Hotel property management system experience, particularly Hilton systems, is a plus.
• Prior hotel, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• Strong communication, hospitality, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using computers, email, office equipment, and payment systems with accuracy and discretion.
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, work independently during assigned shifts, and collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, verify reservations and IDs, check-in/out, issue keys, explain amenities.
• Process reservations, changes, cancellations, room assignments, and special requests in the PMS.
• Handle payments, including authorizations and folio charges, while protecting guest data.
• Recognize Hilton Honors members and apply brand standards and benefits.
• Answer calls and emails promptly; provide directions to Gulf Breeze and local attractions.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room readiness and service needs.
• Explain policies like check-in/out times and pet accommodations clearly.
• Maintain a neat lobby and front desk; assist with inventory tasks as assigned.
• Complete shift checklists, reconcile cash, and provide handovers.
• Perform night-audit duties when scheduled.
• Follow safety, privacy, and accessibility procedures; report hazards.
• Collaborate with breakfast, housekeeping, and maintenance for smooth experience.
