Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Destin is seeking a Front Desk Agent to assist guests with arrival and departure, provide excellent service, and uphold brand standards in a welcoming Destin hotel environment.

The role requires handling registrations, payments, and guest inquiries with a positive and professional demeanor; flexible scheduling is expected. Previous hotel/front desk experience is preferred, and Hilton familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hotel front desk experience is preferred.
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, move around front office, and use a computer system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Input guest information and retrieve data from the computer system; confirm guests and room rate.
• Post charges to guest accounts and balance the house bank; handle payments and vouchers.
• Issue and code electronic keys; manage room assignment based on guest needs.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages; assist with local information and hours.
• Resolve guest issues and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Be flexible with schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
