Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Front Desk Agent at Sawmill Creek to provide exceptional guest service, check-in/out, and ticket sales, while upholding Cedar Fair standards. This role involves working with the hotel Property Management System and assisting guests with inquiries.

Perks include paid training, free uniforms, free admission to Cedar Point and other properties, and employee discounts. The position pays $16.00/hour and requires availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Charismatic attitude.
• Ability to learn and use the hotel Property Management System (Opera).
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company Policy, unless prohibited by law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
