Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Front Desk Agent to perform desk functions, check guests in and out, handle reservations, and greet guests as the first point of contact. You will thrive in a high-touch, community-connected environment at a Hilton-flag property in a fast-growing suburban market.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3–12 months of guest relations experience, with strong computer and cash handling skills and a hospitable demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Three to twelve months of related guest relations experience.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills; sociable, outgoing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration, room assignments, quote rates, upsell guests, meet special requests, and collect charges.
• Verify registration cards against computer to ensure accuracy of name, payment, rate, and market segment.
• Pre-register, block reservations and manage same-day or future bookings per rate structures and sell strategies.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs per policy and ensure correct charges are posted.
• Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the start and end of each shift.
• Resolve guest complaints; assist guests with inquiries about services, events, directions, and attractions.
• Manage phone activity and provide general knowledge to callers.
• Cancel room reservations according to procedures.
• Greet guests and walk them through procedures professionally and courteously.
• Coordinate between Front Desk and Housekeeping to optimize room availability.
