Kinseth Hospitality's Residence Inn location is seeking a guest-focused Front Desk/Guest Services agent to provide exceptional service at the lobby and desk. You will greet guests, check them in/out, handle reservations, and guide them on local attractions with a warm and professional approach.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, clear communication, and the ability to manage payments and inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Present a professional and friendly appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, sells rooms, issues keys, and assigns rooms compassionately.
• Ensures guest safety by following security procedures and privacy guidelines.
• Sorts and routes mail, faxes, and messages accurately.
• Records and communicates guest requests to relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Answers inquiries about services, registrations, and local attractions; gives directions.
• Checks out guests and coordinates with housekeeping on departures.
• Calculates bills, processes payments, and handles deposits per procedures.
• Books, confirms, and cancels reservations by phone, computer, or written form.
• Answers and routes calls professionally using prescribed procedures.
• Posts charges to the ledger for rooms, meals, or services.
• Stores guest valuables securely in hotel safe or deposit box.
• Maintains shift-to-shift log for clear cross-shift communication.
• Keeps lobby and front desk area clean and organized.
