Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and support the General Manager in Simsbury, CT. You will supervise front desk staff, ensure exemplary member service, and help drive daily club performance.

Responsibilities include interviewing staff, managing inventory, enforcing standards, and mentoring team members. This role requires a flexible schedule and a strong customer-service mindset in a fast-paced gym environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisor/manager experience in a high-volume retail/restaurant setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing and recruiting front desk staff and instructors.
• Oversee front desk operations and ensure clean, friendly, and well-maintained club.
• Monitor inventory and review sales with GM to improve performance.
• Mentor front-end employees and promote career growth.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions and shift coverage.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and assist GM with audits.
