Planet Fitness in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff and assist the General Manager. This role focuses on front-of-house operations to ensure smooth daily activities, exceptional member service, and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate will multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage inventory and staffing, and participate in recruitment and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 6 month Supervisor or Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant or retail environment.
• 1 year Supervisor or Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk personnel and assist General Manager.
• Focus on front-of-house operations to ensure daily activities run smoothly.
• Monitor inventory and review sales numbers with GM to identify opportunities.
• Involve in interviewing and recruitment by phone screenings for front desk and fitness instructors.
• Ensure club standards, cleanliness, and guest services meet company expectations.
• Mentor Front End staff to support career growth through training and evaluation.
• Cover shifts when needed and coordinate with HR and management on disciplinary actions.
• Support club audits to keep areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
