Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff and assist the General Manager in day‑to‑day club operations. The role emphasizes front of house excellence, guest service, and operational efficiency.

The position requires multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, leadership, and strong communication skills to motivate staff and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast‑paced retail or service environments preferred.
• Ability to train and mentor front desk staff.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and oversee front desk personnel.
• Ensure front of house operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Support interviewing, onboarding and scheduling of staff.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales metrics and react to performance gaps.
• Uphold company standards and maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.
• Coordinate shift coverage and assist with audits and inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
