Planet Fitness in Foxon, CT is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff, support the General Manager, and focus on front-of-house operations to ensure smooth daily activity. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, strong communication with management, and dedication to member needs.

Responsibilities include interviewing and recruiting front desk staff, monitoring club metrics with the GM, enforcing standards, training Front End employees, coordinating shift

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma Or Equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee front desk staff and assist General Manager in daily club operations.
• Manage front-of-house activities to ensure a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club.
• Assist in interviewing and recruitment by conducting initial phone interviews for front desk and fitness staff.
• Monitor inventory and review daily/weekly/monthly sales numbers with GM to identify opportunities and adjust execution.
• Communicate and uphold company standards, mentor Front End employees, and ensure superior customer service.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions and shift coverage with GM, Regional Manager and HR as needed.
• Assist in club audits to ensure cleanliness, organization, and upkeep.
• Open to covering shifts for call-outs or vacancies when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Club Manager.
