Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and assist the General Manager with daily club performance. This role focuses on front-of-house activities, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment and exemplary member service.

The ideal candidate will multi-task in a fast-paced setting, supervise front desk staff, and help drive key club metrics while maintaining company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months supervisor/manager experience in a fast‑paced retail or restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk and guest services to ensure member satisfaction.
• Assist General Manager with club operations and performance metrics.
• Participate in interviewing and initial phone screening of front desk staff.
• Monitor inventory and review sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Uphold company standards and lead by example in cleanliness and service.
• Coordinate shift coverage and disciplinary actions with GM and HR.
• Mentor front-end staff for career growth and training.
