Job summary

Planet Fitness Branford, CT seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations, support the General Manager, and ensure superb member service in a fast-paced club. You will lead front-end staff, handle scheduling, and help execute daily objectives to keep the club clean, welcoming, and compliant with brand standards.

This role requires multitasking, strong communication, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisor/manager experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist the General Manager and coordinate front-of-house activities.
• Participate in interviewing and initial phone screenings for staff.
• Monitor inventory and review sales metrics to identify opportunities.
• Uphold company standards and promote the club's mission and values.
• Provide shift coverage and mentor front-end team members.
• Oversee club audits and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions with GM/HR when needed.
