The Clinical Administrative Assistant at UCSD SHW Central Office provides front office support for CAPS, scheduling, crisis screening and patient education while supporting 70+ clinicians and 12 satellite locations. You will be the first point of contact, guiding students to CAPS services and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

You must handle confidential information under HIPAA, use Epic for registrations and appointments, troubleshoot e-checkin and forms, and collaborate with program managers

Qualificações

• Front office experience in a mental health outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records for patient registration and scheduling.
• Ability to support patients in crisis and maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and sensitive information handling.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients with warmth; manage front desk operations.
• Support scheduling, registrations, and insurance eligibility across CAPS sites.
• Assist with crisis screening and mental health support as needed.
• Coordinate with CAPS clinicians and program managers to streamline workflows.
