Job summary

Courtyard & Residence Inn Raleigh/Brier Creek is seeking Front Desk Associates to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and provide information about local amenities. Flexibility to cover 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm shifts and both full-time and part-time roles are available in the Brier Creek area of Raleigh.

Qualified applicants will have at least 1 year of front desk experience, strong computer skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working as a hotel front desk agent required.
• Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using hotel reservation system such as Lightspeed, FOSSE or PEP is a plus.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Friendly and customer service oriented.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome and complete registration according to brand standards.
• Greet guests at check-out and verify charges, update guest profiles, and email folios.
• Demonstrate knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and local area.
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and loyalty programs.
• Answer phones promptly with polite, professional greetings.
• Respond to guest inquiries promptly and escalate complaints to a manager when needed.
• Complete start and end-of-shift tasks and reports.
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data.
