Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Gulfport to welcome guests, process check-ins/outs, and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. You will handle calls, assist guests with requests, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms meet standards.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and check them in/out per policy.
• Provide information about hotel services, rates, and amenities.
• Answer phones, respond to guest requests, and resolve issues promptly.
• Process payments, verify IDs, and balance cash drawer.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
• Upsell services to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain knowledge of safety, security procedures and brand standards.
