Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, manage registrations, and provide ridiculously personal service. You’ll act as an ambassador for the hotel, assist with PBX operations, and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.

The role requires a high school diploma, guest-facing experience, knowledge of local attractions, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous front desk or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local area and attractions is helpful.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple arrivals.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-in/check-out guests professionally.
• Answer phones promptly and relay accurate information.
• Manage messaging, mail, and guest requests.
• Balance cash and credit card transactions at shift end.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping and Valet.
