Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a friendly front desk associate to manage check-ins/outs, handle guest inquiries, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience. You will work with a team to maintain high service standards in a boutique environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, and familiarity with hotel systems to input data accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or guest services preferred.
• Knowledge of local area, attractions and events.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy check-in/check-out times.
• Familiarity with hotel systems and accurate data entry.
• Flexible to work overnights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Review arrivals noting special requests and block rooms as needed.
• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls promptly and knowledgeably with complete information.
• Complete all items on appropriate shift checklists (AM, PM, Overnight).
• Conduct pre-assignment of rooms including VIPs and special requests.
• Follow the hotel’s key control and credit policies.
• Submit lost & found items with reports.
• Be familiar with fire and emergency procedures.
• Open, balance, and verify daily shift cash transactions.
