Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Front Desk Agent to handle registration and checkout, PBX operations, and mail and message services while delivering outstanding guest service. You will be an advocate for the hotel and create ridiculously personal experiences that encourage guests to return.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, front desk or guest-facing experience, knowledge of the local area, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous front desk or guest-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local area, services, attractions, and events.

Responsibilities

• Register and check out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Handle PBX operations, mail and message services while delivering outstanding guest service.
• Review arrivals and special requests, block rooms as needed and monitor room availability throughout the day.
• Follow credit policies and key control procedures; balance daily shift cash and transactions.
