Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Front Desk Agent to manage registration and check-out, PBX operations, and guest services. You will act as an advocate for the hotel, creating memorable, personalized experiences and building relationships with guests that encourage repeat visits.

Responsibilities include reviewing arrivals, handling check-ins/outs, answering calls, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous front desk or guest-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local area, services, attractions.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to enter information accurately in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Register and check in/out guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, providing complete information.
• Review arrivals noting special requests and block rooms as needed.
• Complete all shift checklists (AM, PM, Overnight).
• Conduct pre-assignment of rooms, including VIPs and special requests.
• Communicate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
• Maintain credit policies and balance daily transactions.
