Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Hallandale Beach, FL is seeking an Office Assistant for full-time, on-site work in an outpatient clinic. You will greet patients, check them in/out, handle calls, and keep the front office organized, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.

Four 10-hour shifts per week (Mon-Thu) with excellent base pay and opportunities for productivity and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• AA in a healthcare-related field or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement and responsibilities.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a health care setting, outpatient clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and forms, coordinate maintenance/repair of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
