Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Office Assistant (Float/Outpatient Clinic) for full-time work to support multiple clinics across South Florida. You will greet patients, manage check-ins, handle calls, and maintain orderly front-desk operations.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) and at least three years in a health-care setting, with strong organizational and HIPAA-compliant administration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in healthcare, outpatient clinic preferred.
• Ability to cover South Florida offices; strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and forms; coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in all administrative activities
