Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care – Office Assistant (Float/Outpatient Clinic) is a full-time role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will greet patients, check them in/out, answer calls, and support clinic operations across South Florida with a Fort Lauderdale base.

The position requires an AA or higher, with three years in healthcare; bachelor's preferred. You will ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain supplies, and coordinate reminders. E-Verify participates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA) required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably outpatient.
• Experience in administrative duties and office coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Giving coverage in time of need to offices in South Florida with base Fort Lauderdale office.
• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accepting inbound calls and making outbound calls to the patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, HIPAA and regulatory requirements in all administrative activities.
