Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an Office Assistant Float for our outpatient clinics. This full-time role supports multiple Florida offices, greets patients, checks in/out, handles calls, and ensures smooth front-desk operations across locations.

You should have at least an AA, with a BA preferred, and three years in healthcare. We offer a strong benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401K with up to 4% company match, PTO and paid

Qualifications

• At least an AA degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out, directing them to the correct department or waiting area.
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms; coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
• Communicate appointment reminders, test results, and other information to patients.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
