Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Operational Account Coordinator to act as the main operational contact for assigned customer accounts. You will manage ground shipments from booking to delivery, validate requests, and create accurate bookings in the customer platform and TMS.

You will monitor loads for delays, coordinate with internal teams, and keep customers informed throughout the shipment lifecycle. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight, 3PL, transportation operations
• Experience owning day-to-day communication for a customer account
• Hands-on experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) from booking to delivery
• Knowledge of domestic ground transport (FTL/LTL) and load consolidation
• Strong written communication and attention to detail for high-volume workloads

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Validate shipment requests and create bookings in the TMS.
• Monitor shipments for delays, exceptions, and coordinate resolutions.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with internal teams and customers.
• Escalate security or safety concerns as needed.
