Job summary

Crane is seeking an Operational Account Coordinator for a shift A, on-site in Houston. You will serve as the operational point of contact for a high-value customer account, transforming customer demand into bookings, reviewing loads for consolidation, and owning all customer communications from booking to appointment confirmations.

You will coordinate with capacity planning and outbound teams, ensuring dates and service outcomes are accurate across systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in freight or 3PL account coordination, customer service, or transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret customer booking requests, confirming service requirements and dates before booking.
• Build the order in the customer platform and create the booking in TMF.
• Validate the booking for completeness at first release to avoid rework.
• Coordinate with Outbound Specialist and Capacity Planning Specialist for TMF and scheduling updates.
• Review current open loads to determine if consolidation is possible.
• Own all communication with the customer account and confirm appointments.
