Job summary

Crane in Houston, TX is seeking an Account Operations Coordinator - Shift B to serve as the operational point of contact for an assigned customer account and manage the ground shipment process.

You will build bookings in TMF, coordinate consolidation, and own customer communication, including escalations and appointment changes. The role requires 2–4 years in freight or 3PL, TMF/Aljex experience, and strong MS Office skills. On-site with Crane benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-value customer programs with prescriptive SOPs.
• Experience working from a customer order platform or portal vs internal systems.
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling and dock management tools.
• Understanding of cross-border documentation and special handling.
• Ability to distinguish one-off exceptions from systemic gaps.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret customer booking requests and build bookings in TMF.
• Review open loads and determine consolidation with existing freight.
• Own all customer communication including escalations and appointment confirmations.
• Coordinate updates across TMF, Aljex, and capacity planning tools.
• Escalate operational and tooling gaps to the program manager.
