Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years general office experience preferred.
• One year customer service experience, preferred.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.
• Strong phone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing/data entry skills.
• PC experience with the ability to learn required computer systems/programs.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative/clerical tasks including filing, copying, data entry and mail/distribution.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Provide information and assist customers with pick-up/delivery needs and inquiries.
• Enter freight shipment information into computer systems and generate freight bills.
• Assist with freight pick-up, driver check-ins, and related documentation.
• Coordinate inquiries by phone, email or fax and address billing questions.
• Coordinate freight delivery appointments and stakeholder communication.
