FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented office professional to support customer service and freight operations. Responsibilities include processing documentation, entering shipment data, handling inquiries, and scheduling pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years general office experience preferred.
• 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.
• Strong phone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use general office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner).
• Typing/data entry skills; ten-key skills preferred.
• PC experience with ability to learn required systems/programs.

Responsabilités

• Handle customer needs and process documentation for freight movement.
• Perform clerical tasks: filing, copying, imaging, answering phones, data entry, mail/distribution.
• Provide accurate information and assistance, determine pick-up/delivery needs, and upsell services.
• Enter freight shipment data, update status, and generate or correct bills.
• Assist customers via phone, email, or fax with inquiries, tracing shipments, quotes, and billing questions.
• Schedule freight delivery appointments and coordinate pick-ups when required.
• Review Hours-of-Service logs and report discrepancies.
• Support city operations: driver check-in, documentation, and coordination of drop-offs.
