Three Tone Enterprise in Katy, TX is seeking a Freight Account Manager to own the freight operation behind our national Amazon contract. You will plan shipments, secure carriers, and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while controlling costs.

You’ll manage loads from booking to proof of delivery, negotiate rates, vet carriers, and provide visibility to internal teams. This fast-paced role rewards ownership and accuracy in a growing beverage logistics business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight account management, freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch, or logistics coordination.
• Hands-on experience managing loads from order and booking through delivery.
• Experience negotiating rates with carriers and owner-operators.
• Working knowledge of carrier compliance, including FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the freight account for our Amazon contract, ensuring on-time, in-full, and on-budget shipments.
• Plan and schedule shipments based on purchase orders and facility requirements.
• Secure delivery appointments and manage changes or reschedules.
• Cover loads by finding and dispatching box-truck, LTL, and truckload carriers nationwide.
• Recruit, vet, and onboard carriers, verifying authority, insurance, safety ratings, and FMCSA compliance.
• Negotiate rates, accessorials, and terms with carriers to control costs.
• Provide complete load details and track status from pickup to delivery.
• Prepare and manage rate confirmations, bills of lading, and POD for every load.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements for on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
