Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company hiring a Fraud Operations Manager to oversee multiple Fraud Operations teams and pods, including disputes and compliance work. You will lead talent, set strategy, and drive cross-functional alignment while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Base pay ranges up to $180k depending on location within the U.S., with significant equity and health benefits. You’ll mentor leaders and ICs, manage productivity and quality metrics, and partner with recruiting

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes and fraud risk prevention experience in FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years in fraud management or leadership of managers or senior ICs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a group of people leaders and ICs across multiple teams.
• Define and champion an operational strategy and roadmap to improve efficiency, quality and compliance.
• Ensure accountability for service levels and productivity with data-driven burn down plans.
• Translate business goals into team objectives and communicate alignment.
• Identify and mitigate systemic issues with cross-functional partners.
• Serve as escalation point for complex merchant, user, or internal issues and resolve risk events.
