Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company enabling a transparent pay experience with no hidden fees. As Fraud Operations Manager, you will oversee multiple fraud teams and develop leaders while executing a strategy to improve productivity, accuracy, and compliance across the function.

You will translate business goals into team objectives, collaborate across functions, and act as the escalation point for complex merchant or user issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection in FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years in fraud management or people management roles, leading managers or senior ICs.
• Track record of defining strategy and delivering large-scale operational change.
• Strong strategic planning, risk management, and prioritization.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder influence.
• Experience leading teams through major change and ambiguity.
• Ability to stay composed and model behavior under pressure.
• Experience with AI-driven initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and data-driven improvements.
• Scripting or querying experience (Python/SQL) is a plus.
