Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to manage a broad range of fraud cases from a remote/home setting. You will analyze patterns, collaborate with IT partners, and action accounts as needed to prevent losses while supporting training for members and staff.

The role emphasizes daily review of predictive reports, strong communication, and adherence to risk controls. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12-months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Exercises mature judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing a broad range of fraud case types and contributing to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Bridge operational execution with emerging fraud trends and support collaboration with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Emphasis on daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts.
• Participation in Fraud Team area-related projects and training/education of credit union members and employees on fraud related topics.
