Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to prevention initiatives. The role emphasizes daily review of predictive reports and collaboration with technical partners to understand fraud patterns.

The position primarily works from home, with travel to other branches as needed. A high school diploma and relevant fraud experience are required, along with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ~12‑months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Primarily work from home setting.
• Travel to other branches or locations required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Review predictive fraud reports on a daily basis and take appropriate actions on accounts.
• Collaborate with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Participate in Fraud Team projects and training/education of members and employees on fraud topics.
